"Willy" is an 8 year old mule.  He is sweet and smart.  He was rescued from a truck bringing him and 2 other mules to be skinned at a tanners in the mid west. He is easy to ride and he loves people.  He is healthy and gaining weight and happy.  A very wise mulie!   He was used as a summer camp in a program in Pennsylvania and as most summer camps do, when camp ended they brought all the animals to auction.  He rides english and western and needs a quiet, competant rider who understands mules.  He has a hard spook, so you need a good seat.  He is best friends with Pilgrim and we refuse to separate them.  They cannot leave the Hamptons area.

UPDATE JANUARY 2010:

Pilgrim and Nemo are 5 and 8 yrs respectively and they are inseparable mules.  Both stand about 14.1h.  They are adoptable as a pair only.  Fencing must be the "Escape Proof" kind because, again you are dealing with incredibly intelligent animals. Nemo is quiet and safe to ride.  Pilgrim can be comical, though he is well broke.   Mules are quite different from horses.
