Pocohantas

"Pocohantas" is a sweet little girl.  Part Dun (zebra stripes and all!) and part paint mustang filly.  She is almost 2 and her wide eyes are spectacular.  Pocohantas was saved in memory of her namesake who runs with the herd over the rainbow bridge. This sweet little 2 year old filly had no cluse what happened to her, nor how close she was to being butchered for a european dinner. She comes to us for safety and training.
She was saved from a kill buyer who ships direct to Mexico.  Hard to believe, as always.  She is quiet and sane and stunning to look at at.  She was perfect for the farrier and we are so impressed with her!

Update February 20, 2008:  Poci loves Captain Jack Sparrow and will remain with him.  Few times have we seen such devotion.
