"Justin" is a
pure bred gorgeous Morgan. Justin needs financial assistance from vet
bills to basic care costs and EXTRA TREATS!!! This sweet boy has limited
vision and was a stallion headed for slaughter at the ripe old age of 4!
We have had him gelded and he has turned out to be one of the nicest
horses I have ever met. We have a surgeon coming shortly to evaluate
him for optical sugery and will post the findings here. He is young,
sound, healthy and smart. His job with us for the last few months
has been to babysit the babies! He has proven a fine leader.
Please help us to help him! Consider sponsoring him, or helping with
vet bills. He is a fine FINE horse!
Update February 14, 2008 Justin had the
fortune of a fantastic eye surgeon traveling out to see him and evaluate
his case. The good news is that his eyes will not worsen. The
bad news is that it is not an operable situation. He will now remain
on at AFER and hopefully a kind soul will sponsor him and maybe even visit
and help care for him! He is one of the nicest horses in the world.

Thank
you Wally:

Christine-
Wally and I are very lucky to be in a
position to help out - Wally is actually paying it forward as I purchased
him and took him from a life of a school horse and now he is very
spoiled. I admire the work you and your daughter are doing. I am sending
a picture of my most fancy horse. He has a very bad left eye and a bum
ankle (some would say that I am crazy for buying him) but he is the BEST
that has happened for me in a long time.
Linda, you are the best thing that has
happened for BOTH Wally and Justin! Thank you!
Thank you Linda for the GREAT HUG
turnout blanket for Justin! And for the countless bottles of cowboy
magic (we LOVE the stuff), the second round of HOMEMADE cookies, apples,
carrots of every size, etc! Justin (and Faith and Hope) are SO
loving having you visit!

Update:
Justin, Faith and Hope were adopted by an
awesome family! May 2009
