Resident!

Sponsor needed! (his sponsor adopted 2 of our rescues!)

"Snugglebunny" spent the first three days at the farm thinking he was going to die.  He was dehydrated and starving and old enough to know he had been in a horrid place.  What he did not know was that we were not going to allow him to die!  For three days we hugged him and told him he would be okay.  He has only a couple teeth left and he could not eat traditional food.  We soaked Senior feeds and alfalfa cubes and slowly but surely his life began to change.

And as his health returned, we noticed his nerve did not.  He was so badly abused, he feared everyone.  We moved him to the main barn where he could watch and see how we treat the other horses.  Sure enough, after a month he asked to join us.  This small, beaten pony who feared mistreatment became of the best ponies cherishing the children who came to visit.  Many, many rides and lessons later he was adopted and lives in Watermill now. 

Update:  Karma's home has fallen through and he is now a full resident of Amaryllis.  He needs a sponsor!  Please help, especially our senior citizens!

In honor of "Andy"  a beloved partner of Erica Carlson, Karma is sponsored.  Andy crossed the Rainbow Bridge and gallops freely with so many we have loved who have gone on before us.
