Cochise

Adopted!

Cochise is a sweet Pony of the Americas filly about 3 years old.

She was saved from auction and was rehabilitated.

She gained an amazing amount of weight and has grown quite a lot.

Cochise appeared to have been kept in a small pen with sheep or cows,

as she had muck stuck all over her underside and skin

would come off if you tried to remove it.

Cochise now is able to run around like any youngster

and has grown strong and surefooted.

Her old coat has grown out and her new coat is like silk.

She is very smart and not spooky.

She does not have any bad habits.

Update:  September 2007 Cochise has been renamed Starfire and she is strong and healthy now.  She continues to stay on as a boarding horse at AFER and we get to hug her daily!

Cochise and Will Turner live together now!
