Applicant agrees that
Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue ( also known as AFER),its
officers, and/or
designated volunteers, retain the right to visit with and
inspect at any time,
(both prior to, and subsequently following adoption):
the horse itself, as
well as the premises, living quarters, and any related
conditions surrounding
the horse and its care. This will remain a a
conditional term of
adoption at all times. If at any time it is brought to
the attention of AFER
that a placed horse is suffering due to neglect,
mistreatment, abuse or
cruelty, AFER will IMMEDIATELY repossess the horse and may indeed press charges. Further, Adopter agrees that designated AFER
volunteers may come onto the property/premises to remove said horse. In the event this occurs, no
compensation will be made to the adopter and said adopter agrees to
relinquish the horse willingly.
Applicant also agrees
that paying any and all amounts owing in adopting a
horse also constitute a
condition of adoption. Adopter agrees that
non-payment of monies
owed also constitute grounds for removal and re-homing
of horse. Examples of
monies include, but are not limited to: adoption fee,
veterinary fees, hauling
fees and board fees.
