Star
Adopted!


Star was born in 2001 and is a registered Thoroughbred Mare.

She was not fast enough for the race track so she was sent to be killed.

Star has been saved in the hopes of her making a statement to the world

that the most awesome horses can be found in the horrid kill-pens!

 

 

Update September 2007:  Star lives in her adoptive home in Lake Placid with her best buddy Tracey and their great family.  She has 10 acres and a new barn and thrives!

 

 

Update 2009:

 Freezing winter!

Hi Christine,
check out Tracy & Luna this morning when I let them out of the barn to get in the sun it was -25...I had to take pictures of their eyebrows! take care, Bonnie
