Bosco's
Mystique
Adopted!

Bosco's Mystique 1989 Pony of the Americas Mare.
This
sweet girl
somehow ended up in a kill pen awaiting the slaughter truck.
In that pen
she had her foal.
Horses of all kinds are put into these pens together and
many stallions, mares, foals, injured or blind horses fight for
survival...needless to say, the foal did not survive.
Thanks to a
wonderful
sponsor, though, this pony mom will.
She was rescued in honor of
"BASKO" aka "BOSCO"
who was an adopted horse from Amaryllis back in 1990
now
has just passed onto the Rainbow Bridge.
She lives because Bosco was so
loved!

Update: September 2007 Misty thrives in
her own barn not 10 minutes from AFER where she lives with an older
gentleman gelding and many chickens. Her new family understands her
and cares for her special needs and Christine passes her corral several
times daily. She looks great and is surely living the good life
now!
This is a photo of Basko with Rachel
several years ago!
